Project: Granny Stripe baby blanket

The current crochet project I'm working on, which I'm hoping will be done by 27th October, but it's actually going fairly slowly. It's looking pretty good though, so I can't complain. I'm making this for my nephew, who'll be making his way into this world in December. The first born of my youngest older sister, so it's pretty exciting. I've done 16 rows, and I'm thinking of making 36 rows, so 20 to go. Still a lot of work left ahead of me.

Yarn: Paton's Big Baby 4ply acrylic

Welcome to my world, I guess.

Another day, another blog. I'm really not very good at updating regularly these days, but quite recently I decided I want to create a blog about my latest passion - crochet. Well, maybe not a blog only entirely about crochet but one that allows me to share my love for the craft and the creations I am stumbling my way through AND other more interesting aspects of my day-to-day life. So, this is it.

Welcome to the world of Mary. Who also happens to be quite contrary.

And token crochet picture, to whet the appetite! :) The infamous attic24 neat ripple pattern, and my current ongoing WIP project.
